Who We Are
Partain Builders LLC is built on a foundation of hands-on construction and engineering expertise. We work with developers, contractors, municipalities, and project owners to qualify, manage, and deliver complex projects that require advanced construction leadership and engineering oversight.
Our dual licensing—ROC 343653 (KB-1 Dual Building Contractor) and ROC 352354 (A General Engineering)—enables us to take on work that most construction companies cannot. Few firms in Arizona hold both advanced licenses. Even fewer use them as a foundation for integrated project leadership.

Nick Partain
Founder & President, Partain Builders, LLC
Nick Partain is the Founder and President of Partain Builders, LLC, a veteran-owned construction and development firm serving Arizona through luxury residential construction, commercial construction, and real estate development.
A former Army Ranger and service-disabled veteran, Nick built his career around discipline, integrity, accountability, leadership, and a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship. He began his construction career in Chicago after completing the four-year union carpenter apprenticeship program at the George Vest Jr. Carpenter Training Facility, where he developed a strong technical foundation in commercial construction, structural systems, safety, project management, and precision field execution.
Nick went on to work as a Union Carpenter and Project Manager on demanding commercial projects throughout the Chicago area, including the Central Station redevelopment on Chicago's Near South Side. His experience working through complex architectural details, multi-level structures, and high-precision construction challenges helped establish the practical problem-solving and field leadership approach he brings to every project.
After relocating to the Dallas–Fort Worth area, Nick spent more than a decade expanding his experience across residential and commercial construction, roofing, business development, and project management. Today, he leads Partain Builders with a vision to deliver high-quality residential, commercial, and development projects defined by disciplined execution, lasting value, and a client experience built on trust.
Vanessa Castillo

Vanessa Castillo is the Business Development Manager at Partain Builders, bringing more than 12 years of experience in the construction industry. She helps drive long-term growth by building strong client relationships, developing strategic partnerships, and identifying opportunities that create lasting value.
Throughout her career, Vanessa has worked closely with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and industry partners to help deliver solutions aligned with project goals. Her experience includes business development, account management, contract negotiations, strategic planning, and client engagement—all grounded in trust, responsiveness, and exceptional service.
At Partain Builders, Vanessa is focused on expanding the company's presence, strengthening relationships throughout the construction community, and helping clients bring their vision to life.
