Qualifying Party Support
in Phoenix
Qualifying party support is the use of a licensed professional to qualify an Arizona contractor license for a business or project that requires one. Partain Builders provides qualifying party support through its dual licenses (KB-1 and A General Engineering) and the experience to back them.
What This Means in Phoenix
Phoenix is the largest commercial construction market in the region, with large-scale urban mixed-use, municipal and institutional work, industrial, and major redevelopment projects. Projects here are often large, multi-trade, and infrastructure-heavy.
Larger Phoenix projects bring more trades, more infrastructure, and more coordination risk, which is where strong project management and field operations leadership make the biggest difference.
For qualifying party support specifically, that means Partain Builders brings the licensed construction leadership, coordination, and accountability this kind of Phoenix project requires, backed by ROC 343653 + ROC 352354.
Common Phoenix Project Types
- Large urban mixed-use and redevelopment
- Municipal and institutional construction
- Industrial and warehouse
How We Engage
- 1. Review the classification the business or project requires
- 2. Confirm the qualifying party scope and responsibilities
- 3. Engage as the responsible license holder
- 4. Oversee scope and compliance through the work
- 5. Maintain the qualification in good standing
When Phoenix Projects Need This
These are the real situations that bring owners and developers to qualifying party support in Phoenix.
01
A business needs an Arizona contractor license held by a qualified, responsible professional to operate legally.
02
A project requires a license classification the current team does not hold.
03
A company needs a qualifying party who is actually engaged, not just a name on a filing.
How Partain Builders Handles It
We provide qualifying party support the right way: a real, experienced license holder who understands the responsibility that comes with the role. The Arizona Registrar of Contractors expects a qualifying party to be genuinely responsible for the work, and that is what we provide.
This is not a paperwork service. It is licensed oversight of the scope the license allows, backed by years of construction leadership and dual advanced classifications.
What We Take Responsibility For
- Serve as the licensed qualifying party for the required classification
- Ensure scope stays within what the license authorizes
- Provide the responsible oversight the ROC requires
- Coordinate compliance, bonding, and insurance expectations
- Support the business or project with real construction judgment
