Our Approach to Safety
Partain Builders treats safety as a leadership responsibility, not a checklist handed off to a subcontractor. The same licensed oversight that manages sequencing, quality, and schedule also owns the safety standard on site.
Each project begins with a site-specific safety plan that addresses the real hazards of that scope and location. Crews are briefed, expectations are documented, and compliance is verified through daily field presence, not paperwork alone.
When conditions change, the plan changes with them. When a risk is identified, work is stopped and corrected before it continues. That is how we keep people safe and projects moving.

Required PPE on every active site, including hard hats, eye protection, high-visibility apparel, and task-specific gear. Standards enforced before any crew enters the work area.
Hazard Identification
Daily pre-task hazard assessments and weekly site walks to identify risks early. Issues are documented, communicated, and corrected before work continues.
Site Safety Planning
Project-specific safety plans covering sequencing, access, fall protection, and subcontractor coordination. Plans are reviewed with crews and updated as conditions change.
Subcontractor Accountability
Every subcontractor operates under the same safety expectations. Compliance is verified on site, and non-conforming work is stopped until corrected.
Licensing That Backs the Standard
Our safety practices are maintained to meet the standards expected of our Arizona Registrar of Contractors license classifications. Leadership on site is licensed, qualified, and accountable for the work and the conditions it is performed under.
